The challenge was to breathe new life into the space while honouring the museum’s established character.

Our design project focused on reimagining the old museums café into a multiuse space, working within the constraints of the original architectural framework and including the preservation of standard elements.

The result is a fresh, contemporary environment that balances practicality with an artsy edge.

Two key architectural interventions define the redesign:

Sleek Metal Shelves: These long, minimalist installations function as gallery displays, creating a refined visual rhythm and offering flexible exhibition opportunities.

A Versatile Metal Structure: Serving as the centrepiece of the space, this multiuse construction redefines spatial boundaries. Its clean lines and sculptural quality provide both aesthetic interest and functional adaptability for various programming needs.

Together, these elements create a cohesive environment that reflects the museum’s identity while elevating the visitor experience through thoughtful, contemporary design.
