This year, Creta Maris Resort, a proud member of the Metaxa Hospitality Group,
celebrates 50 years of exceptional hospitality.

To honor this milestone, we were entrusted with the curation and design of a
commemorative exhibition that would capture the essence of the resort’s rich history
and evolution over five decades.

To tell this story, we divided the resort’s 50-year journey into five thematic decades:

1975–1985 – The Beginning of a Vision

1985–1995 – A Time of Joy, Growth & Connection

1995–2005 – Recognition, Expansion & Cultural Vision

2005–2015 – Sustainability as a Way of Life

2015–2025 – Renewal with Purpose

Complementing the main display, we designed a 50-year timeline, marking the
resort’s key milestones and achievements.

We conducted in-depth research within the hotel’s archive, carefully selecting
photographs and objects that best represent each era. These curated elements were
presented in five custom-designed wooden rectangular showcases, with each
decade’s material – approximately 20 images and select artifacts – arranged in a
consistent visual language to ensure cohesion across the exhibition.

Our objective was to highlight the unique character of each decade, while creating a
seamless and engaging narrative flow that invites visitors to journey through time, 
experiencing the evolution of a landmark in Greek hospitality.
